The large pyrite cube on this specimen measures 2.6" from tip-to-tip, and is accompanied by a couple of smaller penetrating twins that seem to pierce the larger cube where they intersect. They are perched on a gray sandstone matrix which contrasts well with the brassy golden color of the pyrite crystals. Amazingly, this piece is 100% natural, just the way it was found in the quarry.
