You will love the way light bounces off of the perfectly parallel faces of the jacare (elestial) quartz crystals on this specimen. Turn it and all the parallel faces suddenly light up in brilliant hot spots, creating an impressive pattern of bright and dark surfaces.  The back side of the piece is fascinating too, as it is covered with broken quartz crystal pieces which are cemented together.  Unusual formation with no damage to the jacare faces.
