This is a very aesthetic specimen of cubic pyrite in the creamy marl matrix they grew in. The brassy gold crystals are mirror-bright and  geometrical, with sharp edges and corners, and light striations on the faces. The largest crytal is 1.2" on edge, and there are 12 interlocking crystals in the tight cluster. This is a superb matrix specimen from the classic pyrite locality in Spain which produces the finest specimens in the world, mined during the 2016 season.
