The green color of this 65.6ct diopside crystal is a lovely lime green, and the gemmy interior makes it an especially attractive specimen. The termination is about 50% complete. The lustrous, transparent faces of the crystal allow you to look deep into the crystal. There are some bits of graphite around the base of the crystal. This is a good representative example of the material from the 2007 find at Merelani Hills.
