The color of this rubellite tourmaline is a stunning, raspberry red, and the setting in very light blue cleavelandite makes for some wonderful contrast.  The gemmy tourmaline crystals are bright and shiny, with the customary striations.  This combination is very beautiful, and has the kind of eye appeal that will really stand out in most any collection. This specimen came from Brazil, found on my 2016 trip there.
