This is a sharply formed spinel crystal, in a luscious rosy lavender-pink color. The crystal is sharp, and is formed in the octahedral crystal habit. It is fairly shiny, with no damage. This is a very good and particularly colorful example of spinel from Tanzania, which ranks near the top of the chart for crystal form, color, and sharpness. It is an attractive, well-crystallized collector specimen.
