Here is a fine specimen of calcite from China, with tall stacks of sharp wedge-shaped crystal prisms to over 1", in a translucent white color. The luster is very shiny, and the crystals are slightly transparent. This excellent specimen is completely damage free. The stacks of crystals are accented with patches of brightly metallic, shiny pyrite crystals. No damage.
