Here is a specimen of gemmy translucent apatite crystals from Nagir, in rich shades of rose pink. The 6-sided crystals have 6 sharp sides are terminated or double terminated, and the faces are glassy and lustrous. They sit on a matrix of muscovite mica in sharp, complete crystals, as are found inside of pockets in the pegmatite. This is a very good miniature specimen, a great example of this mineral from one of the world's premiere localities.
